Percussion detonator DU-PP
The DU-PP percussion detonator is used in the ISKRA series initiating heads to initiate the detonation impulse and subsequently transmit it to the explosive train of the carrier perforating apparatus during perforating and explosive operations in oil and gas wells when deployed on tubing.
DU-PP Percussion Detonator
The DU-PP percussion detonator is used in ISKRA 50, ISKRA 73, ISKRA 85, and ISKRA 86-GS hydraulic initiating heads, and in ISKRA 73-M, ISKRA 86-M, and ISKRA 86-MS mechanical initiating heads, to initiate the detonation impulse and subsequently transmit it to the explosive train of a carrier-type PBA when performing perforating and blasting operations in oil and gas wells, when deployed on tubing.
Distinctive features
- contains no initiating explosives, ensuring safety in handling;
- universal for all types of initiating heads manufactured by Promperforator LLC (except for the ISKRA (TOR) series heads);
- the ability to be transported together with other dangerous goods compatible with classification code 1.4S, by all modes of transport.
