TOR-200 series detonators

TOR-200 series detonators are designed to initiate the detonation impulse and subsequently transmit it to the explosive train of the perforating apparatus during perforating and explosive operations in oil and gas wells, whether deployed on tubing or wireline.

TOR-200U and TOR-200E Detonators

The TOR-200U percussion detonator is used in ISKRA 38 (TOR), ISKRA 48 (TOR), ISKRA 50 (TOR), ISKRA 73 (TOR), ISKRA 85 (TOR), ISKRA 73-GS (TOR), ISKRA 86-GS (TOR), and ISKRA 89-D hydraulic initiating heads; and in ISKRA 73-M (TOR), ISKRA 86-M (TOR), ISKRA 73-MS (TOR), and ISKRA 86-MS (TOR) mechanical initiating heads, to initiate the detonation impulse and subsequently transmit it to the explosive train of a carrier-type PBA when performing perforating and blasting operations in oil and gas wells, when deployed on tubing.

The TOR-200E electric detonator is used together with PZU-series universal protective adapters to initiate the detonation impulse and subsequently transmit it to the explosive train of a carrier-type PBA when performing perforating and blasting operations in oil and gas wells, when deployed on wireline.

Features of the TOR-200U and TOR-200E detonators

  • absence of initiating explosives in the products, ensuring safety in handling;
  • absence of connecting wires and threaded connections in the product design;
  • ease of installation in the PBA: the detonator is placed into the corresponding socket of the PBA adapter with a single universal fitting size and requires no additional fastening;
  • a shorting contact on the wireline's central core conductor during PBA deployment on wireline, which ensures safety when loading the PBA;
  • the ability to be transported together with other dangerous goods compatible with classification code 1.4S, by all modes of transport.

TOR-200WR Sealed Electric Detonator

The TOR-200WR sealed electric detonator is designed to initiate the explosive train of a casingless, non-sealed PBA when performing perforating and blasting operations in oil and gas wells.

Features of the TOR-200WR detonators

  • absence of initiating explosives in the design, ensuring safety in handling;
  • significantly higher bridge resistance (100 Ohm) compared to existing analogues ensures compliance with international safety requirements;
  • the design allows initiation of the detonators using both direct-current pulse devices (the PULS device) and devices delivering a high-frequency alternating-current pulse (the PULS device);
  • the ability to be transported together with other dangerous goods compatible with classification code 1.4S, by all modes of transport.
