Z-PRIMER blasting charges (boosters) are a highly effective industrial emulsion explosive in a durable polymer casing, used as an intermediate detonator for reliable initiation of the main charge during drilling and blasting operations. It is manufactured at stationary production facilities and is a mechanical mixture of an emulsion matrix and microspheres or a gas-generating additive. The design of the product includes a special channel for installing a detonator cap and a longitudinal groove for the convenient placement of initiation systems, which ensures the quick and safe formation of the initiating charge directly at the work site.
Z-PRIMER blasting charges provide stable detonation transfer, high initiation reliability, and efficient operation in various mining and geological conditions. Thanks to its excellent water resistance, the product maintains its performance characteristics in dry and water-filled boreholes. The product is designed for use in all climatic zones with standard initiation systems.
