Scalloped gun perforating systems KPO

Designed for carrying out perforating and blasting operations in oil, gas, and other wells at both low and high hydrostatic pressures.

Over the years of production and operation, the design of the KPO perforators has been brought to perfection and is characterized by increased strength and ease of operation. All KPO perforating systems have a similar design; the differences lie only in their overall dimensions. KPO perforating systems can be used in vertical, directional, and horizontal wells when deployed on both wireline and tubing. Small-sized KPO36 and KPO50 perforating systems can also be used for through-tubing operations and coiled tubing deployment. The KPO36 perforator of the DK-2 modification, loaded with special ZKPO-PP-3DK charges, can be used as a tubing "puncher" without damaging the casing string.

Distinctive features of KPO perforators

• Simplicity and convenience of assembling the perforator both in the loading shop and at the wellsite;
• High reliability of the multi-section perforator operation due to the specially designed detonation transfer assembly;
• Convenient connection of individual perforator sections at the wellhead due to the use of a trapezoidal thread (only for KPO114);
• Ability of the perforator to operate under high temperature and pressure conditions in the well;
• Ability to adapt the perforator for operation with various initiation systems;
• No well debris. 100% of all perforating equipment and materials are retrieved from the well after perforation;
• Shaped charges (SC) in the perforator carriers are secured and held in place using bendable "tabs";
• Possibility of combined placement of different types of charges for optimal formation penetration (only for KPO50 and KPO114).
